Cook's Ticket is a structured digital training and assessment programme built around the Danish Ship's Cook Certificate requirements (MLC 2006, Standard A3.2, under BEK 1305) — delivered 100% online with a remote proctored exam. On successful completion, you receive a Cook's Ticket Certificate of Completion, which supports your separate application to the Danish Maritime Authority (Søfartsstyrelsen) for the official certificate.

Practical Video Assessment
Before the theoretical exam, candidates submit a practical video assessment reviewed and approved by a certified Danish examiner.
Certificate of Completion
If you pass, Cook's Ticket issues a Certificate of Completion with your case reference. You then apply separately for the official Danish Ship's Cook Certificate from the Danish Maritime Authority.

  • Valid civil cook's certificate or apprenticeship diploma
  • Valid STCW certificate (incl. basic fire-fighting & first aid)
  • Valid maritime medical certificate
  • Documented sea time: minimum 5 months

Track 2 — Non-IMO White List Countries

  • Valid STCW certificate
  • Valid maritime medical certificate
  • Documented apprenticeship: 48 months total, min. 24 months at sea
  • Home country cook's certificate is NOT accepted — documented experience only
