A recognised digital training and assessment pathway for the Danish Ship's Cook Certificate — aligned with MLC 2006, Standard A3.2, under BEK 1305.

  • A traditional Danish Ship's Cook Certificate requires a residential course ashore.
  • That means flights, accommodation, lost sea time, and crew rotation disruptions — for every single cook, every single certification cycle.
  • For a fleet operator managing dozens of crew changes annually, this is not a compliance cost. It is a logistical crisis.
  • The world has 1.9 million seafarers. The global shortage of certified ship's cooks is not a training problem. It is an access problem.
  • We built the solution.

Get certified. Don't leave the deck.

Cook's Ticket is recognised by the Danish Maritime Authority (Søfartsstyrelsen) to provide training and assessment for the Ship's Cook Certificate of Competency (MLC A3.2), under BEK 1305 — delivered 100% online with a remote proctored exam.
Whether you are a catering agency, a ship management company, or a cook who needs the ticket to sail: no travel, no hotel, no time off. Take the assessment when you are ready. On your device. On your schedule.
No fluff. No celebrity chefs. Just what maritime cooks need to know — and what flag states require to see.
I received my certificate, and I would like to thank you for your continuous support.
